why I love our Administration? At the risk of sucking up too loudly, I want to announce the winners of Mrs. Overton's writing challenge! I mentioned in a PREVIOUS POST that Mrs. Overton had read my students a story, then issued a writing challenge as an extension activity.
Well, the winners have finally been announced! Everyone who won had their writing posted on the wall outside Mrs. Overton's office.

 The book and State Standards posted. It was a very educational lesson! Each grade had its own writing prompt that was at their level.

My students' writings! What I love was that Mrs. Overton commented on each one. She listed one thing that she loved, and one thing the student can work on for the next writing activity.
All of my students did a wonderful job. They really enjoyed the entire lesson! Here are the winners:
