Day 80- The Wonderful Mrs. Watson

I mentioned yesterday that I would be out all day today, but Mrs. Watson would be our sub!

I am pleased to report that my soldiers had a good day! For the most part! There was an incident during lunch that caused my students to have to stand and hold their trays, but my soldiers paid their punishment time by walking during recess.

When I called in the middle of the day, Mrs. Watson had a good report for me- all my students were doing their work and trying their best. I let her know that I had gotten new books to go into our bookstore,

and the students that made it to her "Wonderful for Watson" list will be the first ones on Friday to buy books!
I am so glad to know that I can trust *cough* my students to be on their best *cough* behavior when I'm away! (if only we could master the art of eating during lunch)

** The Holiday Show was wonderful tonight! I came with my 3 children in-tow, which is why I didn't get video. It's hard to wrangle children and take a good video! So, I will have my students to a repeat performance for the camera on Thursday. (That's when Ms. Harris comes to my classroom.)
