Before the weekend starts and I post chapter 9 in the morning, I wanted to share a fun Fact and Opinion activity! Third grade has been working on fact and opinion, and I know second grade works in the skill as well.
In the activity, students matches fact and opinion phrases to the character described. Students then have to decide which are facts and which are opinions. They must also find a page from the text where they find "proof" of their facts.
There are 2 versions of this activity. One is regular black and white. The other is color coded to the character.
