Grades 3-5 were surprised today when Mr. Evans, Mrs. Overton, Mrs. Custer, and Mrs. Barnes visited each classroom to perform a check-up on how our students were doing. In fact, we were in the middle of our math RTI time when they came in!
It was presented as a game, but it was an 8 question TCAP style mini test. Students had 20 min to complete 4 reading and 4 math questions. Students who received a grade of 5/8 or higher received a sticker and a shout out during afternoon announcements.
Here are the students who received 5/8 or higher!
I had 4 students who were just 1 question away from the goal. We were assured that students would have another chance real soon. :)
