Shout out- Lapbook Queen

I am pleased to announce there's a new Lapbook Queen in town! I thought I was doing well with our landforms lapbook, but I was blown out of the water.

All hail the Lapbook Queen, Mrs. Ritchey!

You might remember Mrs. Ritchey from last year when she was going by the name Ms. Gillem.

When I started working through the lapbook for 3rd grade, Mrs. Ritchey saw what I was doing and asked about it. I showed her my binder of mini books and foldables and she was impressed! (My binder is not pictured here. It would be embarassed to be seen next to hers.)

Ritchey decided that lapbooks were the way to go with her ESOL students. She currently works with grades K-3 and they create lapbooks every 2 weeks, all based on what they are learning during their small group time.

Here are some examples of what her students have created so far!

Ritchey, I bow down to your lapbook awesomeness!

Long live the Queen!
(until I knock her off the throne. I gotta go work on my binder!)
